Karen J. Kozlowski, M.D.--Partner Emeritus

 

Dr. Karen Kozlowski grew up in New York but has practiced in Little Rock for over 20 years.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College and later moved to Little Rock where she went to medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  She graduated with honors, including induction into AOA honor society.  After completing her Ob/Gyn residency at UAMS in 1989, she gained acceptance to the prestigious Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Fellowship at Harvard, where she spent an additional year in training at The Children’s Hospital of Boston prior to returning to UAMS to serve as an Associate Professor in the Department of Gynecology.  In addition to her private practice in the community, she created the Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology clinic at Arkansas Children’s Hospital where she continues to practice.  She is considered a statewide and national expert in her field with many publications and speaking engagements throughout her career.  She is an active member of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.  Dr. Kozlowski is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology and Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Christie M. Beck, M.D., FACOG    

Dr. Christie Beck is originally from Alabama and graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Chemistry.  She completed medical school at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2006, earning both the Roberts Key and the AMWA Glasgow-Rubin achievement award for graduating 1st in her class.  Dr. Beck was honored with the Barton Scholarship for 4.0 GPA and is a member of AOA honor society. She remained in Little Rock for her Ob/Gyn internship and residency at UAMS.  Prior to graduation in 2010 she served on Resident Council and was recognized for Outstanding Achievement as the Chief Resident in Gynecologic Oncology.  Her speaking engagements range from the Arkansas ACOG Convention to the Baptist Health Perinatal Conference including lectures on VBAC, Preeclamspia, and Diabetes in Pregnancy.   She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds membership as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Her practice interests range from adolescent to post-menopausal care.  She welcomes adolescent patients for anticipatory guidance visits, to discuss menstural problems, Gardasil vaccination, contraception, and infection screening. 

During the reproductive years, her obstetric focus
includes counseling women seeking natural childbirth, including the option for natural cesarean delivery, prenatal care in collaboration with a doula, and supervision of vegetarian and vegan diets in pregnancy. 

In the post-reproductive years she offers annual exams, alternatives to hysterectomy and specializes in vaginal and vulvar rejuvenation. 

During the menopause years, she guides women through decisions regarding hormone replacement, with a focus on diet and lifestyle changes as well as bioidentical hormones.

Jenny S. Gregory, M.D., FACOG


 

Dr. Jenny Gregory, M.D. was born and raised in North Little Rock.  She attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology.  She was inducted into Alpha Beta Gamma honor society.  Dr. Gregory attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she received her Doctorate of Medicine in 2006.  In medical school, she received honors including the Tenenbaum Scholarship and the Susan Rector Campbell Memorial Scholarship Award for excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She completed her four years of internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UAMS and was awared for Achievement in Medical Student Clerkship Education.  She graduated in June 2010 and subsequently passed the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Written Examination.  Dr. Gregory has been published in the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer.   She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds membership as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
